Richard Cushing is an aspiring dancer, choreographer and teacher.  Richard began his training with Liza Indiciani at the age of 9. Over the past many years, he has been intensely studying Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyric, Contemporary and Hip-Hop.  He has been recognized for his talents by holding many titles such as Teen Mr. Starquest, Mr. and Junior Mr. Dance Xplosion, Junior and Senior Mr. Global Dance International, and the Regional Dancer of the Year at American Dance Awards.  Mr. Cushing has also received the “Future Star Award” presented by Dance Spirit Magazine at International Dance Challenge and was recognized as “Young Choreographer of The Year” at American Dance Awards.  He has also been a scholarship recipient from “The Pulse” convention to train and work along side with many prestigious choreographers as Mia Michaels, Wade Robson, Tyce Diorio, Brian Friedman, and Chris Judd.  Richard is currently studying dance arts and choreography at Marymount Manhattan College in New York.  There he is studying from top ranking teachers and world renowned choreographers as well as furthering his love and passion for dance.  Richard thoroughly enjoys sharing his knowledge and love for dance with students of all ages and levels.
