Alissa Reppucci began her dance training at the age of 3 with Bill Fowler Dance Studio where she studied all forms of dance. She competed at many regional and national competitions, where she received several awards both as a soloist and in group routines. She graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 2002 with a Doctorate in Pharmacy. She was a member of the URI Dance Team and served as the president of the URI Dance Company. She currently teaches tap for the competitive program at Liza’s. Her students have won multiple regional and national awards and titles. She has been recognized for her choreography by American Dance Awards by receiving the “Young Choreographer of the Year” award, “Diamond Choreography” awards, and choreography awards from Starquest and DanceXPlosion. She guest teaches master tap classes and judges at regional competitions. Alissa still studies tap in NYC and at conventions with internationally recognized tappers such as Jason Samuels Smith, Michelle Dorrance, Derrick Grant, and Barbara Duffy to name a few. Alissa strives to share her passion for dance and to encourage creativity and individuality with all of her students. |
